 Summer is my favorite time of year.  No surprise there.  Summer time is a favorite for a lot of people.  But, especially for people on long island.  During the summer there are so many exciting places to go and things to do.  For starters, on memorial day weekend there is an air show over jones beach where the united states navy's blue angels fly overhead doing amazing maneuvers.  Me and my family take our boat to zach's bay and watch the show every year.  It is always a fun day.  We also spend many weekends at tobay on our boat with friends and family.  Sleeping on the boat over night is such a relaxing and enjoyable experience.  My favorite part about the summer though, is going to the beach.  A lot of the time I will frequent tobay beach or cedar beach with my friends.  But the most amazing beaching experience I ever had was going to sore thumb beach or democrat point beach with my boyfriend.  At these beaches you can obtain a permit to drive onto the beaches with a truck.  People stay all day with their chairs set up behind their cars, cooking food and playing music.  We stay all day long.  It's my favorite place to be.  I can not wait for the summer time on long island!
